How long does the session take?
Executive headshot sessions are designed to be efficient and respectful of a busy workday, while still feeling relaxed and unhurried. Most sessions are completed in 20–30 minutes and include time for guidance, photographing, and reviewing images.
The process moves smoothly without pressure. If a little extra time is needed to get an image you feel happy or even thrilled with, that is never a problem. The goal is to create a comfortable experience and deliver a headshot you feel confident using, without disrupting the rest of your day.
I hate being photographed. Can you help?
Yes, absolutely. Many professionals feel uncomfortable in front of the camera, and you are not alone in that.
The headshot process is designed with this in mind. Clients are guided throughout the session with clear, simple direction and gentle adjustments, helping them feel at ease and confident as the session unfolds. There is no pressure to perform or pose in a certain way.
The focus is on creating natural, professional images that feel like you, rather than stiff or overly posed photographs.
How soon will I receive my images?
Images are professionally retouched and delivered within 7–10 business days, and in most cases, sooner.
This timeline allows for careful retouching while still ensuring a prompt turnaround, so images are ready to be used for professional and business needs without unnecessary delay.
Are the digital images licensed for business use?
Yes. Executive headshots are licensed for professional and business use.
This typically includes use on company websites, LinkedIn profiles, marketing materials, press features, and internal communications. Licensing details are outlined clearly so clients understand how their images may be used.
Will I be guided or coached during the session?
Yes. Every executive headshot session includes gentle, professional guidance throughout.
Most clients are not accustomed to being in front of a camera, so we guide you through simple adjustments to posture, expression, and positioning as we photograph. The direction is clear and efficient, helping you feel comfortable while keeping the session moving smoothly.
The goal is not to over-pose, but to help you look confident, natural, and approachable in a way that feels authentic to you.
Can I bring more than one outfit?
Yes. You’re welcome to bring a second outfit, and we’ll help you decide which option photographs best and aligns with how you want to be represented.
Can I choose a different background?
Our mobile studio offers three clean, professional backdrop options: light gray, dark gray and white. If you prefer a more personalized setting, an on location session is available using your office or another environment that supports your brand.
What if I don’t like any of the photos?
Your satisfaction matters. If we did not capture you well, we’ll schedule a re-shoot at no additional charge. If changes are related to wardrobe or styling preferences, a re-shoot can be arranged at a reduced rate.
Do you offer hair and makeup services?
Hair and makeup services are not included, but can be arranged by request. We’re happy to recommend trusted professionals who specialize in camera ready looks.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
We understand that schedules change. We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a fee.
Can I book with a colleague or my team?
Yes, colleagues can be scheduled together. If your company is planning headshots for more than one executive or team member, we can help coordinate a smooth, efficient approach.
How do you photograph teams without disrupting the workday?
Team headshot sessions are designed around the flow of a normal workday. We typically use a mobile headshot studio or a designated on-site setup so employees do not need to travel off-site or step away for extended periods of time.
Each team member is photographed individually in a private, controlled environment. Sessions are efficient but never rushed, with clear guidance and time to review images. Team members can step out briefly and return to work right away, allowing the day to run smoothly while still delivering headshots people feel confident using.
What’s the benefit of a mobile studio versus sending employees to a traditional studio?
A mobile studio allows headshots to happen at your location, which saves time and minimizes disruption. Employees do not need to coordinate travel, leave the office, or schedule around off-site appointments.
By bringing the studio to you, we can photograph more people in a shorter window while maintaining consistent lighting, backgrounds, and image quality. For companies, this often results in a smoother experience, better participation, and more consistent final results.
What if we have employees at multiple locations?
Teams with multiple locations are very common. We help plan a coordinated approach that keeps the look and feel consistent, whether sessions happen on different days or at different offices.
This may include scheduling visits to multiple locations, using the same setup each time, or creating a plan that supports future hires. The goal is to make the process flexible while maintaining visual consistency across the entire team.
Do you offer pre-shoot planning support?
Yes. Pre-shoot planning is an important part of a successful team headshot session.
We work with a point person to review logistics, scheduling, backgrounds, and overall style in advance. This preparation helps the shoot day run smoothly and ensures the final images align with your brand and internal expectations.
How does it work on the day of the shoot?
On the day of the shoot, everything is designed to run smoothly and with minimal disruption to the workday. We typically park the mobile headshot studio at your location or set up a designated indoor space, depending on what works best for your team.

What’s the difference between a branding session and a headshot?
A headshot is a single image designed to represent you professionally. A branding session creates a curated collection of images that show how you work, interact, and present yourself across different settings. These images support your website, marketing, and content strategy by telling a more complete visual story.
How long does the session take?
Sessions typically range from one to three hours, depending on the scope of the shoot. We plan everything in advance so time is used efficiently and locations flow seamlessly.
Do branding sessions include planning and creative direction?
Yes. Every branding session includes a planning call to review your goals, locations, wardrobe ideas, and visual direction. If needed, we can also recommend trusted hair, makeup, or styling professionals.
Where are branding sessions typically photographed?
Sessions are photographed in environments that support your brand and professional message. This may include your office, workspace, or other settings that reflect how you want to be seen. We’ll guide location choices during planning to ensure everything aligns with your goals.
Can branding images be used across multiple platforms?
Yes. Branding images are created with flexibility in mind and are intended to be used across multiple platforms.
Clients commonly use branding images on websites, About pages, social media, newsletters, presentations, marketing campaigns, and other professional materials. Because these images are planned and photographed with consistency and versatility, they translate well across different formats while maintaining a cohesive look.
What types of professionals benefit most from branding photography?
Branding photography is especially beneficial for professionals and businesses that actively market their services and want their visuals to reflect who they are and how they work.
This is particularly valuable for industries such as law firms, financial professionals, accountants, consultants, and professional service providers, where trust, credibility, and first impressions matter. Branding photography also serves business owners, executives, and teams who need consistent, on-brand imagery for websites, marketing materials, social media, presentations, and ongoing content.
Branding sessions are well suited for professionals who want to tell a more complete visual story beyond a single headshot and create images that support long-term marketing and communication goals.
How many images are typically delivered in a branding session?
The number of images delivered varies based on the scope and goals of the session.
Branding sessions are designed to create a curated collection of images rather than a single portrait. The focus is on delivering a variety of usable images that support different marketing needs, including multiple settings, expressions, and compositions. Specific image counts are discussed during planning so expectations are clear before the session.
Can branding sessions support ongoing marketing needs?
Yes. Many clients use branding sessions to support ongoing marketing rather than a one-time update.
Branding photography is often planned to create a library of images that can be used over time, allowing businesses to refresh content, launch campaigns, or update materials without needing a new photoshoot for every change. This approach supports consistent, long-term marketing while keeping visuals current and aligned with your brand.
How many outfits can I bring?
Outfit changes are based on session length, typically two to three looks per hour. If you’re unsure what to bring, we’ll help you narrow down the best options during the shoot.
